Hello!

Hey There

I’m Erin.

I’m an artist, designer, author and entrepreneur.

I’m also a mom, feminist, volunteer and activist.

Some of things that light me up are textiles, theology, alien theory, comic book art, live music, travel and learning.

I am constantly evolving as a creative and a human.

A little over twenty years ago, I graduated a prestigious art university with a dual BFA in illustration and printmaking and a vague concept of how to become a freelance illustrator. In those pre-digital marketing days the going advice was to get a “bill paying” job, squeeze art in around the edges, send out inquiry after inquiry, and pray that success found you.

That sounded like a slow, painful death to my creative soul, so I grabbed some supplies, packed up my van and jumped on a music tour heading west. I spent the next decade as a vendor selling my work at concerts and music festivals.

Turns out taking the road less traveled was my perfect career path.

I’ve gone from selling art out of the back of my van to designing for some of the world’s largest fashion corporations to building a boutique hotel. Along the journey, I’ve engaged in projects in the fields of illustration & fine art, fashion & textile design, and academia & entrepreneurship. As a gifted aesthetic I apply creative thought and problem solving to a diverse range of platforms.

As an artist my personal development has been just as important as my career development. Finding a conscious path in life through active study, meditation and travel has been an ongoing focus. The visual expression of things I’ve learned are a constant influence in my art.

I also believe that my personal values should follow into the life I live and the work I produce. As a designer and entrepreneur, workers rights, sustainability and locality are principals I work towards.
