Erin started working on visionary t-shirts based on alien theory, ancient cultures, science and spirituality while following the band Phish concert to concert in the summer of 1997. After over a decade of selling direct to people attending concerts, she finally launched a full line in 2011. Part of creating a full line of shirts was a desire for Erin to leave the toxic culture of the corporate fashion industry. THREE Erin Cadigan was focused on sustainability, locality and collaboration. Each shirt was printed to order using water based inks and shipped with eco-friendly packaging. Shirts were sourced from US companies who either produced in the US or worked with factories with WRAP certifications. Lines were shot using real people as “models” and Erin cross-promoted their projects and ambitions.
