Aliens. Ancient cultures. World religions. The occult. The coming Apocalypse. Dancing Fairies. Sacred Geometry.

These are things that inspire Erin's art. An avid reader since childhood, Erin has always been a true illustrator. Focused on spreading the knowledge of the written word through pictorial respresentation, she has never cared for the fine art theories of capturing the light on a pond. Her art is layered with meaning and always has a story to tell. Often many stories at once in complex and strange juxtapositions. This talent for shining a light on the stranger side of the universe recently had a follower of her work comment that Erin "is so perfectly weird". She took that has high praise.

Erin like many artists has been drawing and painting since early childhood. After taking a year off after high school to relax and travel Europe, she entered the visual arts program at University of the Arts in Philadelphia. While there she convinced the dean to allow her to combine the course loads of two visual arts majors: Illustration and Printmaking. At the time the school did not offer interdisciplinary course loads in the visual arts. Once Erin graduated the university created a new minor, Book Arts, following the curriculum she established that allows other arts majors access to the bookmaking process.

Ater graduating in 1996 with a BFA and the illustration department's illustrious "Teachers Choice Award", Erin went off the grid. Living in her van much of the year Erin toured the United States following bands and music festivals, a habit she had started the summer of 1994 with the Grateful Dead. By summer of 1997 Erin was mainly touring with the band Phish. That summer was pivotal in her art career. Following a break up, Erin took the tattoo design she had drawn for an ex and printed it on t-shirts to be sold at concerts. Following the excellent reaction to this work, she has continued to this day creating and selling the t-shirt line, THREE, started that summer. This work has been sought after from the start and many followers pride themselves on having every shirt she has ever done.

After the break-up of the band Phish in 2004 Erin turned her career to fashion design. (read more about that here fashion_bio.html) She has kept involved in the underground art field with her inclusion in the book Phanart (www.phanart.net), custom sneaker painting and co-creating art pieces for Counter Comics artist Stavit Allweis. (www.countercomics.com). Erin has worked for Silver People Productions, Cloud Nine Adventures, Grand Central Neighborhood, and Adidas. Her commissioned paintings hang in numerous private collections. Her illustration skills can be found on many custom print fashion items sold in major department stores.

In 2009 with the return of the band Phish, Erin has been invited to exhibit at posters conventions including BPC3 and Mock Show. Once again she is doing what she loves the most; creating art and selling it direct to her public. In this sense Erin is a classic artist: free spirited and underground. As her notoriety has grown, her limited editions of both t-shirts and posters sell out quickly. Catch them while you can.
